Houaphan is a rarely-visited mountain province in northern Laos – bordering on Vietnam. It’s a land of winding roads, misty landscapes and endless mountains. The We Em National Park is found here, along with other natural wonders such as caves and waterfalls. The Hintang Archaeological Park has ancient stone pillars whose purpose is now unknown, and have been nominated for a UNESCO World Heritage listing.
