Nicaragua

No need to consider my photo project as a guide to the country. Rather, it is a sketch of some travel ideas that can be used to create an individual program. Of course, the country has very interesting natural sites, without which it is impossible to imagine a single trip. There are quite nice cities. For example, Granada, Leon, Matagalpa, in which you can just spend time.

But, in my opinion, it is worth paying attention to the preserved and still living traditions. Of course, Spanish colonial policy almost completely erased the folk culture of the pre-Columbian era. But all the more interesting is traveling around the country to observe the new, unique folk culture that has formed, which is an amazing synthesis of ancient Nicaraguan and introduced European traditions. And the ethnic composition of the country's population is mostly mestizo.

Of course, in some cases, it’s not easy to find accurate information about the events and their schedule, but a visit to even one of the many fiestas may well enliven the trip.

In the comments to photographs, sometimes only certain moments are reflected, which in my opinion are curious or important for understanding what is happening. With interest, on the Internet it is easy to find additional information on almost any issue.
