Telica is a stratovolcano located in the municipality of Telica, in the Leon department. One of Nicaragua's most active volcanoes, Telica, often erupted. The last eruption occurred in 2015.
The telly has six cones, the highest of which has a height of 1061 meters. At the top there is a double crater with a width of 700 meters and a depth of 120 meters.
For tourists, hiking tours are organized to the crater of the volcano. And not far from the volcano, behind the village of San Jacinto, boiling mud pits are located, probably connected with the volcano Telica.
