Laundries in the Dhobi Ghat area of Mumbai are a well-known tourist destination and tens of thousands of photographs are taken here, but this does not completely reduce the emotions of visiting them. Laundries have existed on this site for over 130 years and serve both individuals and organizations such as hotels or restaurants. Now more than 8 thousand people work in laundries, of which about three thousand live directly here.
