Since June 19, the State Museum of the East presents a photo exhibition 

"Indonesia. Territory of centuries-old traditions"


organized on the eve of two important events: the 75th anniversary of the independence of the Republic of Indonesia 
and the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Russia and Indonesia, which will be celebrated in 2020.

The exhibition consists of stands, where there are 85 large photographs.

The main topics of the exhibition are: Holidays, Life Cycle Rites, Rituals, Lifestyle, Competitions and Entertainment, Music and Dance. On one of the stands are photos of works of art from Indonesia from the collection of the State Museum of the East.
